My name is Brooke Russell, your new wedding coordinator ...

I’d love to get to know you and your kin but first let me tell you a little about me! I grew up in Winchester, Virginia on a family – owned farm called, Pine Hill Farm! I was definitely the girlie – girl who drove around in her pink golfcart for years but not afraid to get dirty every once in while. The family farm was hard to leave but I needed to spread my wings and now live happily on my own in West Virginia. I have a wonderful family & loving boyfriend named Mohsin. I’m also a Kitty Mamma to my cuddly, pretty girl - Nala.

I feel the happiest and most sure of myself when I’m home with my iced coffee, watching Friends - all my candles lit and a check list to mark off that day! I have a love and passion for organization, labels, and schedules hence ‘coordination’ but I also have an eye for visuals and DIY. I would consider my style and skill to be a ‘make it happen’ kind of girl. I believe that team effort, respect, communication and kindness is what will make your wedding stress free.

In the beginning, I struggled finding any career that I excelled at or a career I had a passion for until college introduced me to Greek Life. Through my sorority I found a passion for event planning that grew into outside internships and I eventually developed my own business, Once Upon a Wedding, officially in 2018. Here I am with more confidence than ever before and ready to plan your special day!
